Real-size comparison for 5 cmWhy the Buckler Tail Dominates the Snags
Rig the Buckler Tail on a standard jig head, tucking the hook point beneath the protective back loop. Work it slow along rocky ledges or through submerged timber using a classic lift-and-fall jigging technique. Let the shield deflect snags while the curly tail triggers aggressive strikes.
Innovative back shield loop protects your hook point from snags
Classic ribbed body creates micro-vibrations on the retrieve
Highly active sickle tail works at ultra-slow speeds
Collapsible guard design ensures high-ratio, rock-solid hooksets
Precision-molded from durable, high-grade silicone
The ORKA Buckler Tail is a game-changer for anglers targeting predators in heavy cover. Combining a classic ribbed grub body with a lively sickle tail, this lure features an innovative, stiff back shield loop. This guard perfectly conceals your jig hook point, deflecting rocks, timber, and weeds without sacrificing hook-up ratios. When a predator strikes, the shield collapses effortlessly for a rock-solid hookset. It is the ultimate weapon for deep-structure jigging where big zander, perch, and bass hide.
